Halloween

Halloween 31st October 2013! We let our imagination go wild and came up with these stories...

HALLOWEEN
I went trick-or-treating with my best friends Kona, Aggelo and Afrozo. Our pillowcases were full of candy, and it was getting late, so my friends wanted to go home.
I wanted a few more chocolate bars so I turned to my friends and said. ‘’Let’s knock on a few more doors and then head for home.’’
They were worried because they thought it was already too late. ‘’Let’s go home now.’’, they said to me. I told them not to worry because we could take a shortcut through the old forest.
So after a few more houses, I took my friends to the path that went through the forest. We walked about 20 minutes, and then, suddenly, I felt very strange. I couldn’t remember the way! It was dark and foggy. We were lost. And to make matter worse, it started to rain. And then, it started to pour. Lightning lit up the sky and thunder rang in our ears. We wandered around in the rain for over two hours. We were very wet and very cold. And then, at about midnight, I saw an old abandoned house on a hill.
‘’I think we’ll have to spend the night in that old house and wait till morning.’’ I said.
My friends didn’t think it was a good idea, but they were cold and wet, so they agreed. We walked up the old door creaked open and we went inside, sat down, and started to eat a chocolate bar, when

First up how the story ends by Konstantina Syrianou (Γ3) and Sindi Tsotsia (Γ3)...

...we heard footsteps and screams coming from a room . We decided to leave but we saw that one of us wasn’t there. Aggelo was missing! Then we heard a noise and we saw a light from inside the house. We were scared but fortunately it was Aggelo. When we saw her, Afrozo understood that something was wrong with her. She suggested we leave the house.
I think it was three o’ clock.  Kona started crying, she was afraid because she felt something touching her. Aggelo told us to go into the house but Afrozo said ‘’no’’.  Aggelo insisted and we finally went into the house. I said that I saw something under the bed. Aggelo started to laugh. Her laugh was so frightening. Aggelo told us ‘’I must tell you something’’ and then her face started to melt. After one minute Aggelo’s body was on the floor and her heart was beating. Kona couldn’t breathe. We ran out of the house with Kona in our arms.
We didn’t expect what we saw. We saw our gravestones. Afrozo wanted to see what was in her grave. I said ‘’no’’. But we went because she insisted. When we opened the grave we saw cobwebs and a lot of bats coming from the inside. When they flew away, we saw a headless skeleton with something on its legs, we couldn’t see exactly what it was. Afrozo saw a girl’s head in the grave, she thought it was her. All this was like a horror film. We didn’t know how it may end. We sat near our graves and something terrible happened. It started raining and in seconds Afrozo was dead in her grave. Me and Kona were alone. Kona was terrified because she saw and heard something. I don’t remember what she saw…the only thing I remember are these:
‘’Sindi something is coming’’
‘Take it easy Kona, we will find a way to get out of here...’’
I didn’t believe what I said because I expected our death. Kona was right! Something was behind us. We saw a young girl. We asked “What are you looking for?” She didn’t answer. Suddenly she started growing up.  She changed faces. We thought we shouldn’t look at her. Kona started shouting. I tried to stop her. I closed my eyes because I was afraid, Kona wasn’t well! When I opened my eyes again, Kona didn’t have eyes. I didn’t know what to do, I found a piece of wood, I pegged it in Kona’s heart. I wanted my best friend’s death to be “sweet”.
After that, I saw a car coming towards me. I shouted but it was as if  I didn’t exist! Something fell from the car. I ran to see what it was. It was a video camera. I thought I should film what was “left”. I did it and I died.
Ten years later:
1st January 2015 (on the news on TV):
“Now we will see a video of 4 girls’ death, in the “underground forest” said the journalist Ariadni Machias.
